Government departments and municipalities

From paper case registers and branch spreadsheets to clear indicators: completion, backlog, and processing time per branch and governorate.

Ministries, municipalities, public agencies, service directorates, and regional offices.

City Horizon Services Authority

Fictional public-service authority

A demonstration authority managing seven services through 12 branches, with applications, complaints, projects, and budgets.

Problems this industry knows well

Applications are recorded on paper or scattered spreadsheets, hiding the true backlog.

Branch and governorate performance cannot be compared on consistent measures.

Processing time per application is unmeasured, so bottlenecks stay unknown.

Complaints are received but not tracked to resolution within a stated period.

Budget spending and project milestones are compiled by hand at the end of each quarter.

Demo — Government service performance

An interactive performance dashboard: applications received and completed, backlog, processing time, performance by branch and governorate, overdue cases, budget versus spending, and complaints with resolution time — with filters for period, governorate, branch, and service type.

Synthetic demonstration data

This demonstration is illustrative, built on synthetic data, and does not represent a real organization.

Examples of what the dashboard reveals

  • Processing time improved by 18% compared with the previous quarter.
  • Two branches account for most overdue applications.
  • Project spending is on budget, but milestone completion is behind schedule.

Data first, with the platform chosen for your organization

Sanad organizes, connects, and models your data, then delivers the analytics platform that best fits your organization. That may be Apache Superset, Microsoft Power BI, a custom dashboard, or another suitable BI tool.

Data sovereignty and gradual delivery inside the institution

Sanad can deploy the analytics platform within government-owned infrastructure or an approved local data centre, allowing the institution to control databases, users, permissions, backups, and security policies.

Apache Superset can be a practical option for budget-limited institutions because it is self-hosted without a per-user software licence fee. Server infrastructure, implementation, data integration, security, administration, training, support, and maintenance still carry costs. Power BI remains an option where the institution already has suitable Microsoft infrastructure and licensing; Microsoft licensing requirements vary by deployment model and existing agreements.

Start with one reporting problem, prove the value, then expand gradually.

A pilot can start with one department, one or two data sources, three dashboards, and 10–20 KPIs, with local deployment, authentication, basic roles, training, documentation, and limited support.

The demo is deliberately open — your real solution is protected

These public dashboards are open only because they contain synthetic demonstration data. Real client solutions can be protected with authenticated access, user roles, department-level permissions, row-level security, private network access, local hosting, or dedicated infrastructure.

Implementation options available to clients

  • Authenticated accounts and user roles
  • Permissions by department or branch
  • Row-level and dashboard-level restrictions
  • Audit logs and encrypted connections
  • Scheduled backups
  • Private or on-premises hosting
  • Dedicated infrastructure, databases, and per-client environments

Your organization's dashboard is built on your own data

Your organization's solution is customized around your systems, goals, workflows, terminology, and security requirements.
